Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 1, 2026  ·  Last updated: April 2026

Aidra (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the platform at aidra.live. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over your information. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and transparently.

1. What Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use Aidra:

  • Account information: Your name, email address, and password (stored as a bcrypt hash — we never store your plain-text password).
  • Company and business information: Company name, industry, brand voice, target audience, business model, revenue goals, and other details you provide during onboarding or while using the platform.
  • Conversation content: Messages you send to AI agents, their responses, and any deliverables generated on your behalf.
  • Uploaded files: Documents, PDFs, spreadsheets, and images you upload for AI agents to process. We extract and store text content for search and retrieval.
  • Usage data: Feature usage, page views within the app, and action logs used for product improvement and billing accuracy.
  • Billing information: Payment method details are handled directly by Stripe — we store only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status, never raw card numbers.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and session information collected automatically for security and rate-limiting purposes.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect to:

  • Provide and operate the Aidra platform, including running AI agent conversations, storing deliverables, and managing your company workspace.
  • Improve the quality and relevance of AI agent responses by analyzing anonymized usage patterns — we do not use your specific conversation content to train AI models without your explicit consent.
  • Process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe.
  • Send transactional emails such as account verification, password resets, billing receipts, and service announcements.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security threats.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles based on your activity.

3. Third-Party Services

Aidra relies on carefully selected third-party providers to operate. We only share data with them to the extent necessary for the service:

  • Stripe: Processes all payments. Stripe may collect and store your payment information under their own Privacy Policy.
  • AI model providers: Your conversation messages and context are sent to AI providers (such as Anthropic or OpenAI) to generate agent responses. These providers process data under their own data handling agreements. We select providers with strong data protection commitments.
  • Optional integrations: If you connect third-party tools (Slack, Google, LinkedIn, etc.), those services receive only the data required for that specific integration. You can revoke integrations at any time.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party, ever.

4. Data Retention

  • Active accounts: We retain your account data and content for as long as your account remains active.
  • Deleted accounts: When you delete your account, we will permanently delete your personal data, company data, and conversation history within 30 days, unless retention is required by law (e.g., for tax or fraud prevention purposes).
  • Billing records: We retain billing history for 7 years as required for tax and accounting purposes, even after account deletion.

5. Your Rights (GDPR and Beyond)

Regardless of where you are located, we respect your rights over your personal data. You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data (“right to be forgotten”), subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Restriction: Request that we limit how we process your data in certain circumstances.
  • Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@aidra.live. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.

6. Cookies

Aidra uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is:

  • Set only after you authenticate.
  • Essential to the service — the platform cannot function without it.
  • Not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
  • Cleared when you log out or when the session expires.

We do not use analytics cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or advertising pixels. We may use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics (such as aggregate page view counts) that do not require cookies or store personal data.

7. Security Measures

We take the security of your data seriously and have implemented the following measures:

  • Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS (TLS 1.2+).
  • Encryption at rest: Data stored in our database is encrypted at rest.
  • Password hashing: Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with a strong work factor — we cannot recover your plain-text password.
  • Session security: Sessions use cryptographically random tokens with expiration and are invalidated on logout.
  • Rate limiting: Authentication endpoints are rate-limited to protect against brute-force attacks.
  • Access controls: Production database access is restricted to authorized infrastructure only.

No system is completely secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to privacy@aidra.live.

8. Children's Privacy

Aidra is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email at the address associated with your account, at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The updated policy will also be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Continued use of Aidra after the effective date of a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
